The equipments underwent a revamp in their values and some functionalities.
Now, each type of equipment will have an upgrade limit and a Tier.
The upgrade limit is what the name says, the equipment can only reach that upgrade level.
Mimic Scroll will work normally, even if you mimic a higher upgrade value into a lower upgraded cap item, the item won't surpass it's limit values.
The description will show a higher upgrade, but the values wont get past the upgrade cap of the item.
You see a renegade helmet +10 (monster essence +4%, tier: 3, upgrade cap level: +10, melee fighting +11, protection all +4%).
You see a renegade helmet +13 (monster essence +4%, tier: 3, upgrade cap level: +10, melee fighting +11, protection all +4%).
In this example, the +13 of the second renegade came from a mimic scroll of a higher capped item, but even while the description says "+13", the values are the same as the "+10".
Equipment Tier will influence 2 things: oil values, and a bonus scaling system for weaker equipment:
The equipment Tier will command the stat values run by the oils, not the amount of different stats. A legendary roll will still only provide 5 different stats.
How it will work: The stat values will follow the following rule: they will be equal or one value above their Tier.
For example, a Tier 5 equipment will have the possibilities to show +5 or +6 in oil stats.
(Your Demonforged Helmet has been infused with new stats (+5 Brewmastery, +5 Arcane, +6 Strength, +6 Haste)!)
A Celestial is Tier 9, and can have values between +9 and +10!
(Your celestial helmet has been infused with new stats (+9 Haste, +9 Arcane, +10 Haste, +9 Restoration)!)
Equipment with Tier 4 or less will have a system where the upgrade itself will be more valuable than upgrades on equipment with Tier 5 or higher.
This will make the weaker equipment, even with a lower upgrade limit, still a useful equipment.
Your Sigil equipment bonuses may enhance your Mastercrafted armor pieces. Applying their bonuses to the set. These can be removed once added and transferred with a mimic scroll to accommodate your builds or improvements. We have excluded certain Sigil set bonuses such as The Protector or Tank set from combining to the armor line.
You can also apply your Vampire hunter equipment obtained in The Council of Marius quest line's stat bonuses to your Mastercrafted armor pieces or higher tiers, even if they have Sigil bonuses on them as well. You can then apply your Sleeping Kraken pieces to the Mastercrafted armor pieces to enhance your set a step further.
Lastly you may create your Celestial Equipment obtained from your Celestial ore mined in the Team Boss Arena at the Black smithing station under the Depot. This will offer a true later game feeling and this can be applied to your Kraken pieces with all previously mentioned bonuses combined into 1 set of the Gods.
You must upgrade the base armor line in the order of Mastercrafted line with Kraken and then Kraken with Celestial. Sigil bonuses and Vampire hunter equipment can be applied to the armor line as any of those 3 stages.
